University of Botswana (UB) and Botswana Exporters and Manufacturers Association (BEMA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on August 11, 2022 to foster collaborations to enhance service delivery and knowledge export.

The Department of Family Medicine and Public Health Medicine in collaboration with the Council on Educational Exchange (CIEE), held a health fair in Kgope village in the Kweneng District on July 8, 2022 as part of efforts to bring health care to the people. CIEE is a United States based organization with operations in Botswana.

For the small community of Moralane village in the outskirts of Shoshong in the Central District, it was a match made in heaven when Vice Chancellor, Professor David Norris, announced that the University of Botswana was adopting Moralane Primary School through the Adopt a School Programme.

The University of Botswana has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Botswana Red Cross Society (BRCS) to assist the latter in capacity building. Vice Chancellor, Professor David Norris, signed for UB while BRCS Secretary General, Mr Kutlwano Mukokomani, signed for the society.

University of Botswana Department of History recently met with Kgatleng District Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) Committee to explore ways through which they can collectively contribute to the preservation and development of cultural heritage. This was the second meeting following the one held in March 2020 in the University.
