University of Botswana students enrolled in the Department of Geology recently completed their eight-week of attachment with Kavango Minerals in Tshane in the Kgalagadi District. Kavango Minerals is a mineral exploration company based in Botswana.

University Botswana student, Anitah Moiya will represent Botswana at the 31st World Miss University pageant on December 21, 2022 in Seoul, South Korea. The 21-year-old, Psychology and Sociology fourth year student will be in Korea for almost a month partaking in preliminary competitions such as head-to-head challenges before the crowning day.

University of Botswana Careers and Counselling Centre held a Virtual Idea Expo on October 28, 2022 to offer students opportunity to share their innovative ideas. The ultimate goal of the Ideas Expo was to empower students with skills to thrive in the knowledge-based economy.
