University of Botswana and RPTU Renew Memorandum of Understanding on Joint Research Projects

University of Botswana (UB) and Rheinland-Pfalzische Technische Universitat Kaiserslaughtern- Landau (RPTU) from Germany have signed a revised Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to strengthen relations in areas of joint research projects, staff and students exchange as well as academic and cultural exchange.

UB and FNBB Forge Partnership to Enhance Student Employability and Staff Development

The University of Botswana (UB) has entered into a strategic partnership with First National Bank of Botswana (FNBB) through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed on the 18th of June 2024. Vice Chancellor Professor David Norris signed the MoU on behalf of UB while FNBB Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mr Steven Bogatsu represented the bank during a signing ceremony held at the FNBB head office in Gaborone.

Professor Doreen Ramogola-Masire Awarded 2024 World Health Organisation (WHO) Sasakawa Health Prize

Deputy Vice Chancellor for Research and Enterprise, Professor Doreen Ramogola-Masire, has been awarded the 2024 World Health Organization (WHO) Sasakawa Health Prize. Professor Ramogola-Masire received the award in Geneva, Switzerland on the 31st May 2024. The Sasakawa Health Prize is awarded for outstanding innovative work in health development to a person or persons, an institution or institutions, or a nongovernmental organization or organizations. Such work includes the promotion of given health programmes or notable advances in primary health care.
