In a move aimed at strengthening academic, political and cultural ties between Ukraine and Botswana, Ukrainian Ambassador to Botswana, Dr Syvak Oleksiy, has proposed the establishment of a Ukrainian Centre at the University of Botswana (UB).

The Confucius Institute at the University of Botswana (CIUB), in collaboration with the Chinese Embassy in Botswana, hosted the much anticipated annual ‘Chinese Bridge’ Proficiency Competition on the 29th of April 2025.

In a proactive effort to address the growing challenge of alcohol and substance abuse in Ramotswa, Level 300 students from the University of Botswana (UB) School of Nursing partnered with the District Health Management Team (DHMT) to conduct a community awareness initiative.
