The countdown to the highly anticipated third edition of the University of Botswana (UB) Marathon has officially kicked off with excitement building as preparations enter the final stretch. At a press conference held on the 11th of September 2024, the University of Botswana Foundation set the stage for what promises to be an impactful event aimed at raising funds for postgraduate scholarships besides contributing to Botswana’s human capita development.

Today, the University of Botswana (UB) Department of Health Services joined the global community in observing World Suicide Prevention Day, commemorated annually on the 10th of September. The event, held at the UB Student Foyer, was aimed at raising awareness within the University Community about the preventability of suicide.
