40 UB Students Trained as Peer Educators to Promote Mental Health Awareness

In a continued effort to address mental health concerns on campus, 40 University of Botswana (UB) students were trained as peer educators from the 16th to 20th September 2024 at Block 252. The purpose of the training, spearheaded by the UB Department of Health Services, was to bolster the ongoing mental health awareness campaign across the University.

30 Newly Appointed UB Academic Staff Complete eLearning and Induction Course Training

Thirty (30) newly appointed academic staff members of the University of Botswana (UB) recently completed an eLearning and Induction Course held at Block 247. The training, facilitated by the Educational Technology and Teaching and Learning Units within the Centre for Academic Development (CAD), was designed to equip the new staff members with the skills required to enhance teaching and learning through the integration of technology.
