The Confucius Institute at the University of Botswana (CIUB), in collaboration with the Chinese Embassy in Botswana, hosted the much anticipated annual ‘Chinese Bridge’ Proficiency Competition on the 29th of April 2025.

Final-year students from the Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management (DTHM) officially handed over a revamped MmaSechele Heritage Site to the Manyana Village Development Trust in a gesture of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) aimed at safeguarding and preserving cultural heritage. In a proactive effort to address the growing challenge of alcohol and substance abuse in Ramotswa, Level 300 students from the University of Botswana (UB) School of Nursing partnered with the District Health Management Team (DHMT) to conduct a community awareness initiative.

University of Botswana (UB) Boxing Club delivered a stellar performance at the second Botswana Boxing Association (BoBA) Interclub Tournament of the year held at Botho University on the 12th of April 2025. The event marked the official start of the 2025/2026 BoBA calendar and attracted 55 boxers from 14 clubs across the country.
