The University of Botswana in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, University of Pennsylvania and Botswana-UPenn Partnership on November 15, 2022 launched a US$3.5 million (approximately P45.4 million) research study titled Thibang Diphatlha.

Ten University of Botswana students will be among 18 university students that will represent Botswana at the UNESCO-India-Africa Hackathon scheduled for Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India from November 22nd to 25th, 2022. 

The University of Botswana fourth year students in the Department of History have organised an exhibition themed Motho le Motho Kgomo: The Story of a Resilient Nation. The aim of the exhibition which will run until end of semester, is to highlight the significance of the Motho le Motho Kgomo monument in the history of the establishment of the University of Botswana.
