The University of Botswana participated in the just ended Global Expo 2019 which was held in Gaborone under the theme: Harnessing the power of emerging markets for economic growth.

The University of Botswana has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Justus Liebig University Giessen of Germany. The purpose of the MoU is to establish and promote cooperative academic relationships in research and teaching as well as to develop of joint projects between the two institutions.

The University of Botswana team led by the Vice Chancellor Prof David Norris is visiting Nigeria to seek collaboration and cooperation with institutions interested in staff and student development. The team arrived in Nigeria on June 15 and is expected to return on June 22, 2019
