Dr Lucky Wakantse Odirile, (The University of Botswana Careers and Counselling Director) will spend the 2021/2022 academic year at Ohio University as the Robert and Rene Glidden Visiting Professor.

The University of Botswana on December 20, 2021 had the privilege of hosting Botswana’s 400m-race specialist, Isaac Makwala, for a presentation of his book titled The Solo Runner and cover to the University management.

Department of Family and Consumer Sciences (Apparel Manufacturing and Meal Management) students have established a departmental store trading under the name CUL-TEX as part of their semester project.

Dr Moren Tibabo Stone has been awarded a research grant to participate in the Fulbright Visiting Scholar Programme from January to October 2022. The Fulbright Visiting Scholar Programme is a flagship international educational exchange program sponsored by the US government.

Dr Odirile is instrumental in the development of this partnership and its recruitment efforts, and her expertise will accelerate this collaboration.
