1.1.1 Entrance Qualifications
1.1.2 Normal Entry Scheme
Admission shall be as stipulated in the General Academic Regulation 20.2 for Bachelor’s Degree Programmes, with
the specific requirement of a grade C (60%) in English and Mathematics.
1.1.3 Mature Age Entry Scheme
Admission shall be as stipulated in the General Academic Regulation 00.52.
Core Courses
The Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management was established as the fourth department under the Faculty of Business, University of Botswana in April 2009.
The Department was established from the Department of Management, where the Bachelor of Business Administration (Tourism and Hospitality Management) was conceptualised. The Department aims to grow into a fully fledged centre for training of tourism and hospitality in Botswana.
