LECTURER IN TOURISM MANAGEMENT

VACANCY NO: FB/T & H 1/2020

Duties: The candidate will be expected to: (i) teach and research in any area of Tourism; (ii) participate in the academic and professional activities of the Department; (iii) carry out any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Head of Department. 

Requirements: Applicants must have: (i) a Doctorate degree in ­Tourism Management or related fields; (ii) show evidence of engagement in research. The following will be added advantages: (i) teaching experience at a university or comparable institution; (ii) evidence of governance and social engagement; (iii) and certified qualifications on tourism skills and computerised tourism systems.  

N.B. Applicants with a Master’s degree in Tourism Management or equivalent domains with a relevant Bachelor’s degree of at least 2.1 pass or equivalent may be considered.

Remuneration: The University offers a competitive salary and benefits commensurate with experience and qualifications.
