​​​​​​​As the University of Botswana continues to develop innovative solutions towards responding to societal challenges, once again it has designed and produced a clinically sound ventilation hood and face mask for COVID-19 patients. 

The University of Botswana has developed three computer software tools that will assist the Ministry of Health and Wellness in the management and monitoring of the COVID-19 pandemic in the country.

The University of Botswana has donated 80 litres of Topical Solution hand sanitizers to Sir Ketumile Masire Teaching Hospital (SKMTH). The hand sanitizers were handed over during a short ceremony held at the University of Botswana’s Faculty of Medicine on April 7, 2020.
