Brief Biography

Dr Boikanyego Sebina is a lecturer of English language and linguistics at the University of Botswana, with years of teaching experience at secondary and tertiary level. She has published peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters, conference proceedings and reviewed journal articles on issues in linguistics. Dr Sebina’s research interest is in the area of Phonetics and Phonology, Applied Linguistics, Morphology, Bilingualism, and  Language Acquisition.

Dr Sebina holds a PhD in English Language and Applied Linguistics from the University of Reading, England, MA in English Language and Linguistics from the University of Botswana. She is the coordinator of the Student Assessment of Staff committee as well as a member of the Research sub-committee of the English department.
