Botswana Educational Research Association (BERA) is pleased to announce its 2025 conference which will be held from 19^th to the 20^th March 2026 at the University of Botswana, Gaborone. The conference is intended to provide a platform for researchers, policy makers and relevant stakeholders to discuss, exchange ideas and views pertaining to issues that are critical to education in Botswana and beyond. Botswana’s education faces a multiplicity of challenges that compromise its ability to be responsive to the labour market needs of the country.

ACM CompEd 2025 will be hosted by the University of Botswana. The 2025 conference will take place in person in Gaborone, Botswana at Phakalane Golf Estate Hotel & Convention Centre. We encourage your participation in this emerging community and welcome you to share your innovative ideas for computing syllabi, laboratories, teaching, pedagogy, and education research with a global audience.

About the conference

The Communication and Study Skills Unit (CSSSU) of the University of Botswana is excited to announce a call for proposals for the 5th International Conference on Academic and Professional Communication (ICAPC) slated for 16th -18th July 2025. The ICAPC is a biennial academic event and is a response to the growth of academic literacy and professional communication as research areas.

The University of Botswana Debate Masters Association will be hosting the 2024 Southern African Universities Debate Championship (SAUDC) at the University of Botswana from the 7th to the 14th of July 2024. This Debate Tournament will see over 300 University Students from the SADC region convene at the University of Botswana for a week long of exciting debating, public speaking and other associated events
