Prof Magdeline Chilalu Mannathoko is an Associate Professor and Art and Design Education Lecturer (Teacher-Trainer) in the University of Botswana. She holds a Diploma in Primary Education from the University of Botswana; Bachelor of Education (Primary) from the University of Botswana specialising in Art Education, Social Studies and Early Childhood Education; Masters Degree and PhD in Art and Design Education from the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff, UK. She also coordinates Art and Design Education unit and Departmental marketing committee. She is a member of the Faculty of Education Executive committee dealing with Appointments and Promotion issues; Univerity of Botswana EDPARC committee member dealing with assessment of Faculty of Education research proposals for funding; Coordinator University of Botswana and Ithuteng Primary school Art and Design Education partnership; Executive member of the Class Volunteers Foundation’s Board of Advisors (BOA) mandated to guide and advise the Foundation in attaining its set goals and objectives; direct the Foundation’s Board of Trustees in policy formulation, planning, implementation and evaluation of the Foundation’s engagements; Regional Coordinator, South African Society for Education (SASE); Executive member of the Sub-Saharan Africa Society for Education coordinated by International Society for Education Through Art (Insead)and Executive committee member for Uniiversity of Botswana Leaving and Learning Community (LLC).

Prof Mannathoko's research interests include: curriculum development and evaluation, teacher education, arts assessment, art and design interventions, arts entrepreneurship, visual arts education for special needs; arts partnerships and arts and culture. She has core-authored distant learning and primary school art materials and has recently authored and core authored articles on art and design pedagogies and assessment published in Intellect, John Wiley and sons and Tailor and Francis journals.
Prof Mannathoko has supervised postgradate students in the ares of Art and Design Education; Curriculum Development and Evaluation; Early Childhood Education; and Basic Education clasroom practice.

My heart beats for the well being of students and so in serving my profession I am a UBFoM educator and facilitator in Microbiology (teaching and research) within the Department of Biomedical Sciences. I am part of a team that also supports student learning as and when required by the Department of Medical education. I am blessed to be part of a budding but dedicated unit that provides Student Support to UBFoM students.
I am honoured to be a 'local product' of the University of Botswana, as a former undergraduate and post graduate science student and now as a staff member.
Microbiology lecturer and researcher at the University of Botswana (UB), Faculty of Medicine, Department of Biomedical Sciences. Facilitator in teaching of the ‘Principles and Techniques of Medical Education Core Module 705’ coordinated by the UBFoM Department of Medical Education. Also help in teaching undergraduate microbiology at the UB School of Pharmacy i.e. structure of bacteria and fungi; mechanisms of action of antimicrobials and pharmaceutical products from fungi.

Prof Mapeo began his carrier in geosciences with the Botswana Geological Survey (now Botswana Geoscience Institute) in 1985 in regional geological mapping projects. He rose to be the Head of the Regional Geology Mapping Division in charge of training,research and staff management. He specializes in structural geology, regional geology and remote sensing and is based at the University of Botswana(from 1999 to present) where he teach course on Strucural Geology, African Geology and Remote Sensing. Reseach activities encompass the regional, geochronological and tectonic geology of southern Africa. As part of this work, he has ben a mentor to many young graduates. At the University of Botswana he has been member of Senate, Member of the faculty of Science Excetive Board, and sat in the Fucalty of Science Appointment, Promotion and Review Committee. He has worked with research teams from the UK, USA, Canada, South Africa, Namibia, Zambia, DRC, Australia, India and Denmark.

Dr Maphale is a professional with expertise in Land Surveying, geographical Information Systems (GIS) and Management. His knowledge of geospatial data collection, processing and management is not only commendable, but it has to be utilised to the advantages of organisations. He has been involved with several projects facilitation regarding the use of geospatial information and technologies in business operations so as to improve operational efficiency and create opportunities. He has played a leading role in organizing and associating Professional Land Surveyors and Geomatics practitioners in Botswana and as Chairman of Botswana Surveying and Mapping Association, he was instrumental in government/private surveyors’ collaboration in Botswana National Land Registration project (2016 - 2017) which saw a lot of villages surveyed. Among other organisations he has facilitated are Debswana on the use of Global Positioning Systems in mining operations; Water Utilities on various aspects of geomatics; Botswana District Councils and Land Boards on the use of Computer Aided Designs (AutoCAD use in particular). Dr Maphale played a leading role in the collaboration of University of Botswana and Ministry of Health and Wellness in the production of mapping dashboard for COVID-19. He is currently serving in reference groups in the Ministry of Land Management, Water and Sanitation Services. He is the Vice President of Botswana Institute of Geomatics.

Location: Block 245/ 225Mr Mogotsinyana Mapharing joined University of Botswana in January 2012 as a Lecturer in Finance in the Department of Accounting and Finance, Faculty of Business. He is currently working as a Senior lecturer in the same department. Prior to that, he has worked as accounts executive at Botswana International University of Science and Technology. He also worked as part-time lecturer at BCET. He is also currently teaching part-time at DABS and CCE. Mr Mapharing has about seventeen academic journal publications, seven conference proceedings and has acted as a module writer and reviewer at CCE. He also supervised MBA dissertations. His key areas of research are in Financial literacy and entrepreneurship, Capital markets,and Banking and Insurance. He has serviced both the Univeristy and the Community at various capacities since joining UB.
Mr Mapharing holds a Masters of Business Administration from University of New Brunswick-Canada, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in Finance and Economics from Old Dominion University, USA. He also holds a Post graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) from University of Botswana and Diploma in University teaching (DUT) from University of New Brunswick.
