Professor Agreement Lathi Jotia is currently a Professor at the University of Botswana in the Department of Languages and Social Sciences Education. He is also the current Acting Dean of the School of Graduate Studies. He has previously taught at the University of Central Florida, Orlando, Florida, USA and at Ohio University, Athens, Ohio, USA. Prof. Jotia is a former Honorary Professor at the University of Kwazulu Natal, Durban, South Africa. Prof. Jotia is a vibrant scholar and researcher whose research interests are in the area of Education and Multiculturalism, Deep Democratic Theory, Transformative Culturally Responsive Pedagogy, Globalization and Education and in Politics of Developing Areas. He has been the In-Country Director for collaborative research projects between the University of Botswana and the University of Central Florida since 2011. He has won several research grants for exchange programmes from Fullbright-Hayes and USA Department of State Federal Research Award which were used in international collaborative research. Prof. Jotia has published widely in the area of Democracy and Education and to date he has three (3) published books, six (6) book chapters, more than twenty (20) journal articles and he has presented about thirty-seven (57) research papers at both local, regional and international education conferences. He is a versatile scholar and a robust intellect who believes in the discourse of education for emancipation and transformation

Dr Tlhabologo M Kabomo is a Lecturer in Physical Chemistry. His academic interests are in the areas of synthesis of materials for catalysis, polymers and chemical education. His current research includes finding alternative ways of reducing the environmental burden of plastics and coal fly ash disposal by converting them into useful and value-adding materials. He also works on nanofibrous material for water treatment. Dr Kabomo is passionate about public science awareness and often publishes articles in the local newspapers discussing science and technology issues with an impact on our daily lives.

Mr. Khutsafalo Kadimo is the Medical Librarian for the University of Botswana, Faculty of Medicine with focus on systematic review service, Information literacy teaching (reference management software’s, database and effective web searching), Research support (with collaborations). Mr Kadimo is a certified Walters Kluwer trainer and Mendeley software advisor. He has published in a number of journals and also reviewed papers for a few academic journals such as BMC Medical Education and Journal of Medical Internet Research (JMIR). His research areas include information literacy, mobile device implementation in teaching, learning and research and health information technologies including health informatics. Apart from working for the university library Mr Kadimo is also serving as the secretary for Botswana Library Consortium, Member of Free Open Source Software (FOSS) and Country Electronic Information for Libraries (EIFL) Copyright Coordinator. Also, a member of both the Botswana Library Association, Association for Health Information and Libraries in Africa (AHILA) – Nigeria chapter and Network of African Medical Librarians (NAML).

Makotoka Kahaka is a lecturer in the Department of Languages and Social Sciences at the Faculty of Education, University of Botswana. He received his Ph.D. from the Department of Theology and Religious studies in the Faculty of Humanities, University of Botswana. His PhD work focused on African Personhood and identity within the general area of metaphysics in philosophy. Dr Kahaka teaches several courses on Moral Education and Pedagogy including: Theory of Moral Education; Approaches to teaching Moral Education; and Curriculum Design in Moral Education. His research interest is situated in the field of Metaphysics and Ethics, with a special focus on moral and metaphysical personhood, religion and Ethics.
