Ms Tebo G. Ditshweu is Lecturer/ Industrial Attachment Coordinator, in the Faculty of Business, University of Botswana. She teaches under the Department of Marketing and specifically teaches courses on International trade, Export, Import Marketing.
Ms Tebo has been a member of the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor, Botswana and has worked as part of a team that published some national reports on the Botswana’s entrepreneurial landscape. Being part of GEM Botswana aroused interest in entrepreneurship and specifically future intention to integrate entrepreneurship with exporting in Botswana.

Founder of the Botswana Global Environmental Change Committee (BGCC) that since 1993 served to build awareness and motivate research on climate and related environmental issues. Served in IPCC WGII assessments since the 3rd report and was Coordinating Lead Author in the IPCC special report on global warming of 1.5 °C and hosted its 4th Lead Author Meeting, Gaborone, April 2018. Was Deputy Chair of the Botswana Government National Climate Change Committee and serves in the Botswana National Disaster Management Technical Committee under the Office of the President. During her term (2010-2015),as one of the Vice Chairs of the International Geo-sphere Biosphere Programme (IGBP),led synthesis work on “Global Environmental Change and Least Developed countries” focusing on response to climate related hazards in the Asia Pacific Least Developed Countries. Currently Editor-in-chief of Current Opinion in Environmental Sustainability Journal,Vice Chair of the WMO Science Advisory Panel and Co-Chair of the Science Advisory Committee of the Climate Research for Development in Africa (CRD4) and is one of the 15 Independent Panel of Scientists drafting the UN Global Sustainability Report 2023. Hopeton Dunn is Professor of Media and Communication and Graduate Co-ordinator in the Media Studies Department, University of Botswana. He is also Senior Research Associate (non resident), School of Communication, University of Johannesburg, South Africa. He served for six years as Director of the Caribbean School of Media and Communication (CARIMAC) at the University of the West Indies (UWI) in Jamaica, and is the Founding Director of the Mona ICT Policy Centre at UWI. Professor Dunn is a former Secretary General of the International Association for Media and Communication Research (IAMCR), and currently serves as Chair of the Association's international judging panel for the biennial award of the Stuart Hall Prize. He is an active collaborator with UNESCO's Media and Information Literacy (MILL) programme.
Professor Dunn is a Research Fellow of the the Collaboration on International ICT Policy for East and Southern Africa (CIPESA), based in Kampala, Uganda, and a member of the South African Communication Association (SACOMM).
He served for 10 years as Chairman of the regulatory Broadcasting Commission of Jamaica (BCJ), and for a similar period as Chairman of the government's Creative Production and Training Centre (CPTC), during which he established its training arm Media Technology Institute (MTI) and its affiliated cable channel Creative Television (CTV), now called JAMVISION.
Professor Dunn is a Law Magistrate and a Justice of the Peace for Kingston, Jamaica.

Stanley Osezua Ehiane is a Senior Lecturer and a Programme Coordinator in the Department of Political and Administrative Studies, at the University of Botswana. Ehiane is also a Research Fellow, at the Department of Development Studies, School of Social Sciences, University of South Africa (UNISA), Pretoria, South Africa, and a Senior Research Associate (SRA) in the School of Public Management, Governance and Public Policy (SPMGPP), University of Johannesburg, South Africa. He is the co-author of Citizenship Education and co-author of Public Administrative: An Introduction. He co-edited books on Cybercrime and Challenges in South Africa (Palgrave Macmillan 2023), Engagement of Africa in Conflict Dynamics and Peace Architecture (Palgrave Macmillan 2024), Understanding the Horizontal and Vertical Nature of Africa Migration in Contemporary Times (Palgrave Macmillan-2024) and Gender, Sexualities and Complexities in Africa (Palgrave Macmillan). Ehiane is an interdisciplinary, multidisciplinary and trans-disciplinary scholar. He is an active member of the African Studies Research Forum (ASRF), in the United States. Dr. Sibonile Edith Ellece is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of English. She specializes in Critical Discourse Analysis and Gender and Language, and teaches a wide range of undergraduate and graduate courses that broadly cover introductory linguistics, English grammar, pragmatics, and discourse analysis.She has published widely in the areas of Gender and Language and Critical Discourse Analysis. She has also authored a number of book chapters, and co-authored and co-edited a number of books . Her main research focus is on the intersection of gender, language, sexuality and the cultural institution of marriage and related practices. Dr. Ellece has been Editor in Chief of Pula: Botswana Journal of African Studies since 2012 and has transformed it from a print-based journal to a fully online one . She is also Associate Editor of the International Journal of the Sociology of Language . In addition, she is a member of the editorial boards of Gender and Language and Gender and Education. She is a dedicated reviewer for a number of local and international journals, among which are Discourse Studies, Discourse and Society, Journal of Multicultural Discourses, Critical Discourse Studies, Agenda, Feminist Formations, South African Journal of African Languages, Marang and Mosenodi. She has also been a moderator for University of Botswana Affiliated Colleges as well as a member of the Botswana English Panel which is responsible for the periodic revision of the BGCSE English syllabus.
Dr. Ellece has a wealth of experience teaching at institutions of higher learning. Her teaching at the University spans 24 years. She has also taught short courses at Koblenz-Landau in Germany and Lancaster University, UK. She has taught in the area of descriptive linguistics, , and in sociolinguistics, with a focus on discourse analysis and the gender and language interface. She has also taught professional short courses in critical thinking and advanced oral presentations in CSSU.

Dr. Ellece has successfully supervised a number of Masters projects in the area of Discourse Analysis with a focus on gender, politics and the media. She is currently supervising a PhD student who is working on a critical discourse analysis of media representation of political actors in Nigeria. Her greatest supervision strength is in critical discourse analysis and gender.

He is a Professor of Real Estate & Valuation & HOD at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Nigeria before coming to University of Botswana. He has over 60 publications in referred journals, 3 standard real estate textbooks and 3 book chapters. He has served variously as a Board Member, Estate Surveyors & Valuers Registration Board of Nigeria (ESVARBON), National Council Member of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors & Valuers (NIESV) & Editor-In-Chief, NIESV Journal.
