Bagele Chilisa is a full Professor of the Post Graduate Research and Evaluation programme at the University of Botswana. Over the last 30 years she has taught Research design, Measurement and Evaluation courses to graduate and undergraduate students. She has supervised more than 50 Masters and PhD dissertations and has served as external examiner for PhD thesis in the SADEC region. She also conducts professional development workshops on indigenous research methodologies and contextually and culturally rellevant evaluation around the world. She has also served as guest lecturer, speaker, resource person and keynote speaker at several conferences in Universities in South Africa, USA, Norway, UK, Italy to mention a few. She is the Director of the HIV and Behavior Change Adolescent Program, member of the UNDP evaluation advisory board and the International Evaluation Council. She has over 80 publications and has received over 30 million pula in grants to conduct and design interventions to address gender inequalities and to mitigate the impact of HIV/AIDS on the quality of life of people in Botswana and beyond. Her book Indigenous Research Methodologies is used in many Universities across the globe. She is the recipient of the University of Botswana Research Team Leader of the year; University of Botswana Researcher of the Year award and the International HIV Researcher award
Her research interests include context and culturally responsive research and evaluation methodologies, indigenous knowledge systems and the design and evaluation of context and culturally responsive interventions in Low and Middle Income Countries.

Joined University of Botswana as a Physics Staff Development Fellow in 1990 and appointed Lecturer in Physics in November 1992. Promoted to Senior Lecturer in Physics in April 2011. From January 2014 to September 2019 I was Head of Physics Department. I was Appointed Acting Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Science from September to December 2017 and February 2018 to August 2019 when I was appointed Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Science for the period September 2019 to August 2022. In 2010 I chaired a group of four members assigned by the Faculty of Science to look at performance of students admitted with different grades in the first year basic sciences. I also served as Coordinator of the Radiation Physics Research Group and the Radiation and Health Physics Programme from August 2011 to December 2013. I served in the Botswana Radiation Protection Board from August 2007 to September 2017. In 2004 co-organized a workshop on Air Pollution in Southern Africa held in Gaborone in February 2004. At Community level I have among others been a member of the National Mathematics and Science Fair Organizing Committee since 2008.

Dr. Nkhabe Chinyepi obtained her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of West Indies, St Augustine Campus (Trinidad and Tobago) Class of 2008. She trained as a general surgeon at the University of Cape Town, where she also obtained a Master of Medicine in General Surgery (MMed). Major interests Trauma, Transplant Surgery and Minimally Invasive Surgery. Currently, she serves as a Lecturer at the University of Botswana General Surgery Department

Emma joined University of Botswana in 2016 as a Lecturer in the Department of Law. Prior to joining UB, she was a legal consultant and a practising attorney in Zimbabwe. Within the Department of Law, she is an Academic Adviser and Chair of the Research Committee. Emma specialises in International Investment Law, Law of the World Trade Organisation and Environmental Law. Her scholarship is on intellectual property; sports law; empowerment laws; the regulation of corruption in international investment treaties and environmental law.
Emma is currently reading for a Doctor of Laws with the University of Pretoria, South Africa.
