I am a qualified and registered architect with Architectural Registration Board in Botswana (ARC). I am also an accredited architectural historian and architectural heritage specialist. I hold a Ph.D. in Architecture from the University of Sheffield completed in 2018. I am a researcher, scholar, and lecturer, and I have also practiced architecture after my graduation. My research interest includes the relationship of architecture to the everyday spaces, heritage, identity, and colonial architecture. Prior to that, I obtained a Masters of Arts in Conservation and Regeneration in 2014. I also hold a degree in Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Botswana completed in 2009.

Alicia Nametsegang joined the University of Botswana in May 2001 as a Staff Development Fellow in the Department of Accounting and Finance, Faculty of Business. She pursued her Masters at New Mexico State University as a Fulbright Scholar. She currently teaches Business Information Systems courses. She is also the coordinator of the Business Information Systems (Business) program.

Inorganic and solid state chemist focusing in design, structural elucidation and reactivity of organometallic compounds, plant based nano-materials , supra-molecular structures with possible applications in drug discovery, mineral recovery, catalysis, energy and water purification systems.
