Prof Dorothy Mpabanga is Associate Professor in the department of Political and Administrative Studies (PAS) in the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Botswana. She teaches at undergraduate and graduate levels including human resource management, organizational theory, public sector management, public policy, research, and project management. Mpabanga has management and administrative experience including 10 years as Director & Deputy Director of the Centre of Specialization in Public Administration and Management (CESPAM). She acted as Head of the PAS department for nine months. Dorothy has vast industry experience for instance 11 years in government as a Project Analyst, 3 years with the central bank of Botswana as a development economist.
Prof Mpabanga’s research focuses on public sector management, HR diversity management, project management, NGO management, higher education management, ICT, governance, leadership, and democracy. She has publications in various book chapters, journal articles including in the Routledge Companion to international Management education and the Public sector Innovation Journal. Location: On study leaveCurrently a PhD Candidate at the University of Pécs in the International PhD (Business Administration) program, Thuso Mphela is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Botswana. His PhD research investigates the relationship between Clinical Governance and Procurement of medicine supplies and health outcomes. Before moving to Hungary on full-time studies, Thuso was a coordinator of the Global Consultancy Program (GCP), an international student consulting project and served as a Business Coach in the Global Business Labs. He has led a team of more than ten researchers in the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) Botswana chapter. He is currently a member of a multi-nation research team engaged in life-skills, entrepreneurship and sports research project targeting youth, under the auspices of Alliance for African Partnership (Michigan State University). Notable consultancy projects include an evaluation of empowerment policy framework of Botswana, done under the supervision of BIDPA. Thuso is also a founding member of the The European American Migration Platform (TEAMHP). He is self-driven individual, always striving for excellence. He is passionate about community empowerment and sustainability issues. He believes in the meeting of minds and appreciates talent and admires achievers. Above all, he is a passionate academic.

Location: 239Dr Mpho Keetile is a Lecturer in the Department of Population Studies (DPS) of the University of Botswana (UB). He has over 5 years’ experience of teaching various Demography & Population Studies courses at UB. Prior to joining the UB, Dr Keetile was a Lecturer at Botho University for 1 year. He was also a secondary school teacher for a period of two years where he was teaching Social Studies. He joined Department of Population Studies in 2013 for a period of four years until the end of his contract in 2017. He later joined the University of Botswana again in January 2020.
Dr Keetile teaches courses on Migration and Globalization, Migration, Urbanization and Development, Population Policies and Programmes, Population Policy of Botswana, Basic Social Science Research Methods, Integration of Population Variables into Development Planning, Introduction to Substantive Demography, and Population, law, policies and Programmes. He has supervised over 20 BA dissertations and 10 post-graduate MA Population Studies students. His main research interests include; Sexual and Reproductive Health, HIV/AIDS, Non-communicable Diseases, Health Systems, Population and Development, Youth and Population Aging.
Dr Keetile has researched and published 21 research articles in internationally reputed journals, has 12 international conference proceedings, 3 chapters in published reports and 1 policy brief. He has been involved in the production of 13 technical reports.

Mandla Mpho is a senior lecturer in the department of Biological Sciences.
My teaching interests combine the areas of entomology, invertebrate zoology, animal diversity and evolutionary biology
My research interests lies within the use of synthetic insecticides to control insect pests and their adaptational responses through development of resistance. Through research, it is my aim to raise awareness about the vital importance of effective use of insecticides and constant monitoring of responses to avoid development of insecticide resistance. I am also interested in the use of plant derived insecticides in the control of insect pests.
