Prof Jerekias Gandure has experience in manufacturing systems, operations management and bio fuels. His research interests are in productivity & process improvement, systems optimization and bio fuels development. Dr Molefhi Abotseng obtained his undergraduate degree with North West University, South Africa. He graduated his MSc in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Central China Normal University, Peoples Republic of China. He obtained his PhD in Biochemistry with North West University, South Africa.

Molecular Biology and Biochemistry

My research work focus on Diabetes and Obesity Therapeutics. He explored the use of oleanolic acid as phytochemical to prevent the occurrence of Metabolic Syndrome. He studied on the impact of lipid metabolism and mitochondrial biogenesis in fructose-induced neonatal metabolic derangement in rat models. His study showed that oleanolic acid has pharmacological properties that are crucial in modulating fatty acids, genes and proteins, which are important for lipid oxidation and mitochondrial bio

I am from a polygamous family of a father, three wives and seventeen children (I am the penultimate child). The family resides in Kenyasi in the Ahafo Region of Ghana in West Africa. After my primary and secondary education, I read Law (LLB) at the University of Ghana at Legon in Accra, Ghana. I, also, read Law (LLM) at the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon, Canada. I have a Diploma in Human Rights from Lund University, Sweden. I am a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ghana. I did my compulsory one-year national service at the Attorney-General's Chambers in Ghana. I have extensive lecturing experience in law, generally, and, specifically, in the areas of Human Rights Law (international and domestic/national), International Humanitarian Law (or the Law of Armed Conflicts), Advanced Legal Theory and Jurisprudence, Law of International Organizations, Specific Delicts and Business Law. This lecturing experience comes from tertiary institutions in Nigeria, Kenya, Lesotho, Swaziland (Eswatini); and Botswana (University of Botswana, where I have been since 23 April 2013). My research interests are in the areas of Human Rights Law, Constitutional Law, International Humanitarian Law, Refugee Law and Advanced Legal Theory and Jurisprudence. I have vast university administrative experience and service to the legal profession, my community and University. I am married with one wife and have four children. I love sports and reading.

Dr. Adekunle Adewuyi is an established academic and research scholar. He had his Bachelor’s and Master's degrees in Civil & Structural Engineering. He received his doctorate in Structural Engineering on vibration-based structural health monitoring techniques for civil infrastructure using fiber-optic strain sensing measurement strategy. 

In the past two decades, Dr Adewuyi has taught hundreds of students at both undergraduate and graduate levels in Civil/ Structural Engineering, Sustainable Construction Materials Engineering, and Foundation Engineering. He successfully supervised over 60 Bachelor’s, 2 postgraduate diploma’s, 8 Masters and one doctorate students in Civil Engineering. He has also handled many projects as a consultant, and have been invited as facilitators for continuing engineering training in a number of consulting engineering firms.

Dr. Adewuyi is an expert on structural performance and durability assessment of civil infrastructure and construction materials with sustained high quality publications. He is a well-traveled academic and researcher who has presented his research findings in virtually every continent of the world. He is a member of many national and international professional bodies.

Professor Adiukwu Chukwuemeka Paul is the Coordinator of the School of Pharmacy, Faculty of Health Science, University of Botswana. Prior to this position, he was the Head of Pharmaceutical Chemistry Department, School of Pharmacy, University of Health and Allied Sciences Ho Ghana, Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, School of Pharmacy, Mount Kenya University, Thika Kenya and Head of Pharmacy, Faculty of Medicine, Mbarara University of Science and Technology, Uganda.

He practiced as a Hospital Pharmacist at the Federal Medical Centre in Bida, Nigeria where he rose to the position of a Principal Pharmacist.  At a point in time, during this period, he served as the Pharmacist in Charge of the Pharmacy Department in the same health institution. His experience in the Hospital sector includes his period as the Chief Pharmacist at KIU Teaching Hospital in Uganda. He also served as a diplomatic volunteer under the United Nations supported Technical Assistance Corps of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. His research and academic experience span through notable universities in Africa, including National University of Lesotho. He was an Associate Researcher in-charge of Human Focused Researches in the Research and Innovative Unit of Mount Kenya University, Kenya.
