Mr. Keabile Tlhalerwa

Certificate in Environmental Education (WESSA, Howick Falls, KZN, RSA), Bachelor of Science (Environmental Science, UB), Master of Science (Climatology, Wits University)

On graduating from UB in 1993, immediately joined the Department of Wildlife and National Parks (Maun) as Game Warden (Conservation Education)

Attended a Certificate Course on Environmental Education organized by the Wildlife and Environment Sociery of Southern Africa (WESSA)  at Howick Falls in KZN (RSA)

Transferred to  Francistown in 1996 as Assistant Wildlife Officer (Conservation Education Unit) in 1996

Joined University of Botswana in 1998 as Staff Development Fellow (Climatology)

Studied for Msc (Climatology) at University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg (RSA) from January 2000 to December 2001

Rejoined the Department of Environmental Science as Lecturer from January 2002

Attended several short courses on Climate Change Modelling, Adaptation and Mitigation in the Southern African region and East Africa

Attended several conferences/workshops/seminars locally, regionally and globally

Secretary of the Botswana Global Change Committee (BGCC)
