I am a structural geologist. My research interests include integrating geophysical datasets, geomorphology, and structural geology to understand extensional and accretionary tectonic environments. Recently, I developed an interest in using the combination of the aforementioned datasets to understand neotectonic seismic hazards in southern Africa.

Southern African neotectonic seismic hazards

Subduction zone geodynamics, with an emphasis on subduction congestion/microcontinent collision and orocline development

Aeromagnetic and gravity interpretation and modelling
