Dr Elizabeth Mary Mathew is a lecturer in the School of Pharmacy, Faculty of Health Sciences. She is actively involved in the academic and research activities of the department.

Her areas of expertise are analytical and bioanalytical chemistry, vitamin responsive seizures and Pharmacokinetic studies. Dr Mathew has a primary research interest in the field of analytical and bioanalytical method development of drugs and biomarkers in complex matrices.  She also has expert knowledge in the handling, calibration and sample analysis of various sophisticated instruments namely Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectroscopy, Gas Chromatography Mass Spectroscopy, High Performance Liquid Chromatography-UV/Fluorescence/PDA, Ultraviolet Spectrophotometer, Infrared Spectrophotometer, Karl Fischer Titrator, Dissolution Apparatus, Disintegration Apparatus etc.

Her commitment in the field can be judged by her publications in journals of  international repute like Bioanalysis, International journal of Analytical chemistry, Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Bulletin, Journal of chromatographic sciences etc.
