Dikabo Mogopodi holds a PhD in Analytical Chemistry.She has previously worked as a researcher at Botswana Institute for Technology Research and Innovation in a team that developed diagnostic kits for animal diseases. She has lectured Chemistry at Botswana University of Agriculture and Natural Resources where she also participated in several externally funded research projects. Dikabo has also worked as a senior research scientist at Botswana Geological Institute and also at National Food Technology Research Center.
Dikabo is an Associate of the Organization for the Prohibition Chemical Weapons since 2017 and is a Tony Elumelu Alumni (2018). She serves as a board member for Botswana Academy of Sciences (BAS) which plays an advisory role in the quality of science to Botswana Government. Dikabo serves in the Secretariat committee for African Network of Analytical Chemists which is funded by International Programme in the Chemical Sciences. Dikabo is Next Einstein Forum Ambassador for the year 2020-2021. She serves in the executive committee for the Organization for Women in Science in Developing Countries Botswana Chapter as a founding member.
