The University of Botswana will be hosting Professor Mike Bode - Professor Emeritus of Astronomy and Special Representative of the European Astronomical Society to the EU in Brussels who will be giving an accessible public talk on Astronomy titled “Stars That Go Bang at Night” and on aspects of the Global Radio Astronomy SKA Project- Square Kilometer Array project – http://www.ska.ac.za/ that Botswana is a partner.
Professor Bode is also a Visiting Professor of Astronomy at BIUST
