Synopsis: The University of Botswana will showcase its products and services at the 5th Higher Education Fair in Maseru, Lesotho. The fair, hosted by the Council on Higher Education Lesotho (CHE), is meant to provide information to prospective tertiary education students about higher education institutions in the SADC region. The mandate of the Council on Higher Education is to provide Information on higher education to the public, and to promote access to higher education.
All UB faculties will be represented at the fair to showcase their programmes and work. Also participating will be the Department of Public Affairs, the Office of International Education & Partnerships, and the Department of Academic Services. Emphasise will be placed on programmes that can attract Lesotho students, and to promote UB through its research efforts. For many years, the University of Botswana has enrolled students from Lesotho, and many of their leaders are the University’s alumni.
