On the 15-16th November 2019, the University of Botswana will be hosting an exciting Research and Innovation Festival designed to showcase the innovative research undertaken at the University and the inspiring ways we are preparing the next generation of researchers and innovators. This will be a public ‘sneak peek’ into research and innovation activities by our staff, students and collaborators focused on solving societal challenges and impacting on the nation.
Come and interact with our staff and students through interactive presentations, hands-on demonstrations, posters and displays of various research projects. Whatever your preference, UB has it all, from the arts, humanities and social sciences, health and medicine, engineering and technology, life sciences, business and other areas!
The Research and Innovation Festival will be an exciting, multidisciplinary showcase of research and innovative projects and other accomplishments at UB. We will be celebrating the breadth and excellence of current and past research, creating awareness of the important role and impact our research has on the community as well as showcasing the learning opportunities research creates for our students.
The Festival will bring together the UB research community and external stakeholders to have discussions on research outputs and other common interests across the various research disciplines. It will provide a great avenue to network, collaborate and learn about our innovative research.
