Brief Biography

Dr Kefalotse Sylvia Dithole, the Head of School of Nursing and Director WHOCC at University of Botswana (UB), received her Doctor of Philosophy and Literature, UNISA, Master of Science degree (Critical Care Nursing), University of Witwatersrand, South Africa and Bachelor of Education (Nursing), UB Her research interests include improving mechanically ventilated patients’ outcomes through nurse–patient communication in intensive care units, educating the community about HIV and AIDs and professional issues and she has published articles in refereed journals in these areas She is collaborating with colleagues nationally, regionally, and internationally on a number research project.
