I am a medical doctor and a senior public health consultant. I currently practice as an educationist in the health profession. Before coming to academia, I have worked in clinical care, clinical research, public health, human resources for health, and development partner technical assistance. My interests are socially accountable transformational health professions education, community engaged medical education, and an ethical and responsive health system. My academic responsibilities include teaching undergraduates and postgraduates trainees, and scholarship of teaching and learning. I also provide educational support through faculty development activities to the faculty of medicine teaching staff.
