Brief Biography

Stanley Osezua Ehiane is a Senior Lecturer and a Programme Coordinator in the Department of Political and Administrative Studies, at the University of Botswana. Ehiane is also a Research Fellow, at the Department of Development Studies, School of Social Sciences, University of South Africa (UNISA), Pretoria, South Africa, and a Senior Research Associate (SRA) in the School of Public Management, Governance and Public Policy (SPMGPP), University of Johannesburg, South Africa.  He is the co-author of Citizenship Education and co-author of Public Administrative: An Introduction. He co-edited books on Cybercrime and Challenges in South Africa (Palgrave Macmillan 2023), Engagement of Africa in Conflict Dynamics and Peace Architecture (Palgrave Macmillan 2024), Understanding the Horizontal and Vertical Nature of Africa Migration in Contemporary Times (Palgrave Macmillan-2024) and Gender, Sexualities and Complexities in Africa (Palgrave Macmillan). Ehiane is an interdisciplinary, multidisciplinary and trans-disciplinary scholar. He is an active member of the African Studies Research Forum (ASRF), in the United States. His research interest lies in the fields of Governance, peace and conflict, terrorism and counter-terrorism, cybercrime and cybersecurity, climate change, Migration and refugee.
