I am a Paediatrician and a Paediatric infectious diseases specialist with more than 15 years' experience. I am the assistant program director of the Department of Paediatrics and Adolescent health. My research interests are in pediatric antimicrobial stewardship, and I have published 45 peer-reviewed articles and co-authored various clinical guidelines (including the Africa CDC pan-African antimicrobial treatment guidelines) and book chapters. I am also an assistant editor of the International Journal of Infectious Diseases and the current vice-president of the African society of pediatric infectious diseases (AfSPID).
