TRANSFER INTO Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Medical Laboratory Sciences and Bachelor of Science (Honours) Cytotechnology and Histotechnology Sciences
The School of Allied Health Sciences (SoAHS), Department of Medical Laboratory Science informs BSc Year 1 students wishing to apply for transfer into Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Medical Laboratory Sciences (BSc (Hons) MLS) and Bachelor of Science (Honours) Cytotechnology and Histotechnology Sciences (BSc (Hons) CHS) that:
- The Department will be accepting applications for transfers from the 15th June 2026 until the 30th June 2026.
- Interested candidates MUST have passed the following courses at first attempt: BIO111 & BIO112, CHE101 & CHE102, MAT111 & MAT122, and PHY112 & PHY122. Please attach Semester 1 and Semester 2 results slips (available online).
- Prospective candidates MUST apply by writing a letter addressed to: The Chairperson, School of Allied Health Sciences, Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences.
- Email: bsctransfers@ub.ac.bw OR hand delivery to Block 246 A213 and A214, provide at least 2 cell phone numbers in the application.
- Upon admission, the prospective candidate MUST submit OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS OF YEAR 1 RESULTS (BOTH SEMESTER 1 AND 2) from Academic Services before they could be given their admission letter.
Successful candidates will be informed by email once the whole process has been concluded. A list of successful candidates will be posted on the notice boards in Block 246, and admission letters can be collected from 2nd floor, Office A214 Health Sciences Wing.
