Rationale
This is a structured 3 day short course aimed at practitioners wishing to gain practical grounding on contract administration. Once a contract has been awarded, it is necessary to ensure that performance occurs and the terms of the agreement are fulfilled. This requires the monitoring of performance by suppliers of services and goods to ensure effective, timely and high quality delivery. This requires an understanding of the interplay between contract variation provisions, breach and dispute avoidance.
Purpose
This course offers a framework for understanding and interpreting contractual relationships and ways of collaboration that ensures a deeper understanding of the way that business participants interact in the project delivery process.
