Supervisory and Management Skills

Rationale

  • A supervisor must have the ability to identify real strengths and weaknesses of his/her supervisee and be able to coach and mentor them on specific set of skills and personal attributes as well as innate capabilities.  
  • A supervisor should maintain order, offer innovation, stability and adaptation (Vision 2036). They also partake in establishing action plans and operational goals of the organization.  

Purpose

  • Participants will be able to perform operational processes of leading, planning, organizing, decision making, controlling, motivate, mentor and coach supervisees. They will also be able to appreciate the challenges pertaining to the position in their application of the different roles of leadership in a work environment. 

Learning Outcomes

Course participants would be able to:

  • Attend 98% of the course to qualify for the certificate.
