Rationale
- Project management course orientate learners with project management processes of directing and coordinating human and material resources throughout the project life cycle using modern management techniques to achieve established objectives of scope, quality, time, and cost and stakeholder satisfaction.
- The temporary nature of projects stands in contrast with business as usual or operations, and as such, requires the development of distinct technical skills and management strategies.
Purpose
- Project management course seeks to empower participants with knowledge and equip them with skills of project initiation, selection of a project, case simulation and why selects the project with justification of who will benefit from the project.
- Project management teaches practitioners to understand different selection models, project charter, project scope, definitions, planning of the project as well as peoples’ management and project risk management.
