Peter Smith University of Botswana Herbarium (internationally indexed as PSUB) is a herbarium based at the Okavango Research Institute. The scope of PSUB is regional (northern Botswana), and houses over 80% of specimens collected from the Okavango delta – the World’s 1000th Heritage site. As a researcher or student, you can use our standard reference collection to identify or verify botanical and taxonomic information of your collection. You may also access information on species distribution in the country from this comprehensive collection. At the PSUB we also pride ourselves with working hand-in-hand with communities to create awareness and promote conservation and sustainable utilization of indigenous plants.
