Our transportation system has been proven to be inadequate, inefficient, unsafe and unaffordable. Botswana Transportation Technology Transfer Unit (T2) is a centre serving the nation as a champion of dissemination of new technologies and research outputs. We aim to improve transport modes and infrastructure in the country through technology transfer by:
- disseminating relevant best practice in all aspects of transportation;
- promoting research and training of professionals in the transport sector;
- enhancing traffic safety and public welfare of transport users;
- Fostering economical, efficient and environmentally sound transportation systems.
We complement government and other stakeholders’ efforts for optimal development of the transportation sector.
