Private Work and Consultancy

Become a Consultant

Consultancy work and other types of private work provide the link between the University's expertise with the outside world. This enables staff to share knowledge, expertise, skills and facilities with government, industry and the public sector, to make a direct impact on society and contribute to the development and progress of the country. As a publicly funded institution, the University values encourages and supports staff engagement with the wider community. Some of the benefits of engaging in private work and consultancy include the following:

  2. Create new opportunities to develop new research projects for the future and improve the quality of your teaching.
  3. Build and expand professional and collaborative networks.
  4. Raise your profile with the industry and enhance the University’s reputation.
