The Department of Biological Sciences offers the MPhil and the PhD Degrees by supervised research only. General Regulations shall apply.
2.1 Entrance requirements are in accordance with General Academic Regulation 50.0.
2.2 When applying for the MPhil/PhD Degree Programme, a candidate must first discuss the proposed programme with the Department. The applicant must also submit an acceptable outline of research to be conducted with application forms. Applicants may be expected to present themselves for an interview before the Department makes a final decision on their applications.
The programme of study shall be as specified in the General Academic Regulations.
