The University of Botswana Marathon is an annual event held in Greater Gaborone each September. The 2024 edition is scheduled for September 8th at the UB Stadium. Recognized as a qualifier for The Comrades Marathon, this event features a 42.2 km marathon, a 21.1 km half marathon, a 10 km race, and a 5 km fun run for the whole family.
