University of Botswana Poised to Pioneer E-Learning Space to Deliver Learning Programmes

E-LearningThe University of Botswana is in the process of positioning itself as a pioneer in utilizing technology to take high value postgraduate programmes into Africa.

The University has, therefore, partnered with Sepapane Group to promote its technology driven solutions to solve Africa's education problem. It is against this background that the University of Botswana in partnership with Sepapane Group attended the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF) 2021 from November 15-21, 2021 in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. The IATF provided opportunities for strategic collaborations and partnerships with business in SADC, Africa and beyond.

The two partners are showcasing the E-Learner Space. The E-Learner Space is an online learning platform used by reputable educators and partnering Institutions throughout the continent to host and offer a wide range of professional development courses. The Exhibition focused on the newly-launched African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) and was expected to boost trade and investment among the 55 member states. This is in line with Botswana's aspiration of developing and converting its highly capable human capital into an economy.

The University of Botswana in partnership with Sepapane Group, is currently hosting two training Courses in Instruction Design and Blending offered through E-Learner space platform. The courses aim to help institutions and companies from across the continent with the capability to plan, create, and deploy eLearning solutions. E-Learning is a highly sought component of every higher learning institution and companies are gravitating towards eLearning mode of instruction and knowledge acquisition.

In pursuit of academic excellence
