UB Library Celebrates Young Voices in “A Letter to Botswana at 60” Competition

CompAs Botswana celebrated 60 years of independence, the University of Botswana Library invited UB students to participate in a special writing competition titled “A Letter to Botswana at 60”. The competition provided students with an opportunity to express their thoughts, reflections, hopes and aspirations for the nation as it marked this important milestone.

The initiative created a platform for young people to engage meaningfully with the history of their country and to imagine the kind of Botswana they would like to see in the years ahead. It also demonstrated the important role that the University of Botswana Library plays in encouraging reading, writing, creativity, and intellectual engagement among students.
