UB Explores Strategic Partnership with St. George's University to Expand Global Academic Opportunities

St GeorgeThe University of Botswana (UB) has taken another step towards strengthening its internationalisation agenda following discussions with representatives from St. George's University on opportunities for strategic academic and research collaboration.

Officials from both institutions explored areas of mutual interest that could enhance teaching, research, innovation and capacity building while creating new opportunities for students and staff.

Discussions focused on potential collaboration in student and staff exchange programmes, joint research, curriculum development, faculty partnerships and professional development. The two institutions also explored ways of leveraging their respective expertise to strengthen academic excellence and expand international learning experiences.

The meeting underscored the importance of global partnerships in addressing emerging regional and international challenges through collaborative research, knowledge exchange and innovation. Participants emphasised that strategic institutional partnerships provided opportunities to share best practices, enhance research capacity and broaden the global outlook of students and academics.
