The Government of Botswana has placed Greater Gaborone Zone under lockdown to avert the risks posed by the upsurge of new COVID-19 cases lately. The lockdown effected on July 30, 2020 at midnight and will last until August 13, 2020 midnight.
Consequently, in order to comply with COVID-19 regulations, the University has also taken a decision to close the campus in Gaborone until August 13, 2020 when the Greater Gaborone Zone lockdown is lifted. The University Community and its stakeholders are further urged to adhere to all COVID-19 health protocols.
