Jason Paseka Serebolo a graduate of Biological Sciences and Chemistry from the University of Botswana is the co-founder of Infinergy and the lead innovator behind the EcoStep project. The project is under the University of Botswana Pod (UniPod).

Infinergy is a clean-tech startup co-founded by Jason Paseka Serebolo and One Kgarebe Lerole in 2022, based in Gaborone, Botswana. The company is committed to developing innovative and sustainable energy solutions that integrate seamlessly into everyday environments. Its flagship project, EcoStep, is a modular solar-powered ground tile system designed to convert sunlight into electricity using underutilised outdoor surfaces such as pavements, courtyards and walkways.

Infinergy’s value proposition lies in its ability to offer sustainable energy generation that is embedded directly into the fabric of cities and communities. Through EcoStep, the company envisions a future where energy is harvested from the ground up, supporting smarter, greener living environments. Jason, with a strong foundation in scientific research and a growing portfolio of certifications in project management, data analytics and sustainable innovation, combines technical knowledge with practical execution. His work includes hands-on experience in clean energy design, data-driven decision-making and cross-functional collaboration.

As project lead, passionate about sustainability and problem-solving, he is committed to building solutions that make clean energy more accessible, especially in land-constrained.
