Renowned University of Botswana (UB) academic and motivational speaker, Dr Kgomotso Jongman, has once again captured the spotlight with the launch of his fifth book, “It’s Possible”.
The book was officially unveiled at the Ave Maria Hotel, marking a significant milestone in Dr Jongman’s decade-long journey of inspiring and guiding individuals through life’s challenges.
Known for his compelling voice as a motivational speaker, Dr Jongman has once again merged inspiration with therapy in a work that took a decade to craft. With this book, he hopes to light the way for those weighed down by grief or doubt, urging them to embrace resilience, self-belief and the courage to start where they are.
“This book is about illuminating the path for those who cannot see the light at the end of the tunnel. It is a reminder that achieving your dreams is indeed possible,” reckons Dr Jongman.
“It’s Possible” blends everyday wisdom with practical guidance, stressing that big victories are built on small, consistent steps. More than just a motivational text, the book serves as a companion for anyone determined to rise above life’s hardships.
Though now a published author of five (5) titles, Dr Jongman insists he never set out to be a writer. “I am more of a speaker than a writer,” he admits, adding that with each book he challenges himself to produce something richer and more impactful than the last.
His earlier works - Persevere or Perish, Foretelling the History of Social Work: The Botswana Perspective, Legacy and the revised Persevere or Perish - all reflect his unyielding commitment to empowering others and contributing to the vision of a better Botswana.
With “It’s Possible”, Dr Jongman reaffirms his place not only as an academic and social worker but as a voice of hope and healing in a society searching for light.
