Four Health Sciences graduates receive awards

Four graduates of the Faculty of Health Sciences have been awarded BOPMAS and BOMAID Academic Excellence Prizes. The awards were given to graduating students for demonstrating the highest level of academic achievement in their final year.

The awardees were celebrated at the University of Botswana's 36th Graduation Ceremony at the UB Stadium on October 13, 2018 where a total 2 273 students graduated with different qualifications.

BOMAID Excellence Awardee

Bosigo Kaone (BSc Medical Laboratory Science) received the prize for the best overall student with the highest academic achievement in the Faculty.

BPOMAS Awardees

Keboletse Baelebi (BSc Medical Laboratory Science) received the BPOMAS prize for the best student in the School of Allied Health Professions.

Jerry Mojeri Bolebantswe (Bachelor of Nursing Science) scooped the BPOMAS prize for an outstanding academic and clinical performance in the School of Nursing.

Refilwe Debby Tlalanyane (BSc Environmental Health) won the BPOMAS prize for outstanding academic achievement in the School of Public Health.
