Countdown to Glory as University of Botswana Marathon Approaches its Final Stretch

MarathonExcitement is reaching fever pitch as the University of Botswana (UB) Marathon Finale approaches, with the penultimate activation event held on Saturday, 21st September 2024. The event brought together runners, supporters, and organisers in a vibrant celebration of sports development, health and wellness, setting the stage for the much-anticipated marathon finale slated for the 13th of October 2024.

The event, which is organised by the UB Foundation, provided a thrilling preview of the races to come. Participants not only got a taste of the competition but also had an opportunity to register on-site for the highly anticipated marathon.

A flagship initiative of the Foundation, the marathon serves a dual purpose of raising funds for postgraduate scholarships while fostering community spirit of fighting Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs).
