The University of Botswana Clean Energy Research Centre (CERC) will conduct a SOLTRAIN training course for experts and professionals at Block 246 video conferencing room on September 9-11, 2020.
The course is part one of the Train the Trainer Course. Instructors are Dr Kevin N. Nwaigwe and Mr Okatoseng T. Masoso from CERC as well as Mr Rudolf Moschik from AEE INTEC (Institute for Sustainable Technologies) Austria. Due to COVID=19 travel restrictions, international presenters will be linked via web connection.
SOLTRAIN Phase IV Train the Trainer courses are focused on the group of solar thermal companies, public agencies involved in solar thermal activities as well as on direct project partners staff.
At the end of training, participants should be able to impart knowledge gained to artisans in the private and public sectors. Such advanced courses are specifically oriented towards medium to large scale pumped solar thermal systems. Special focus is on dimensioning and design of solar thermal systems.
